From the creators of the beloved show Cheer, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders is a peek behind the curtain of the lives of these multi-hyphenate women. They are athletes and performers with the expectation of perfection to look like models – all of this on top of their full-time jobs. The show speaks to their dedication to their craft and everything these women are willing to sacrifice to make their dreams come true of making it on the team. It’s an emotional journey through the pressure of perfection and the bonds of sisterhood that make it worthwhile for them.

This project was originally slated to be a suite of images that comprised of instream images only but the strategist (Anica Douglass) and I thought this project deserved a more conceptual and bedazzled approach to help elevate the show. The majority of the suite’s art was created in collaboration with incredibly talented Jenny Leiferman.
